Biography

Mariia Baskal is a multidisciplinary artist who works at the intersection of science and art, transforming her mission to protect the environment into contemporary art objects.

​

​Maria was born in 1988 and currently resides in Rome, Italy. She began studying painting at an art school for 4 years in St. Petersburg and under the guidance of renowned teachers learned the basics of classical technique. Since 2020, she has continued her painting studies in Rome.

​

Maria has participated in exhibitions in Europe, her paintings are in private collections in America, Canada, Italy and other countries.
